Gold Coast is one of the new companies we’ve added for the summer season. They have an abundant selection of boards, including Heavy Pile Dart, which is covered with carpet on the top side. And, a few boards with MACTRAC, a plate that has been recessed into the board with large array of mounting holes for very fine adjustment. They have been selling out very fast, but we are working on keeping them all in stock.

The Skateboard Store is officially open, and is proving to be a great addition to the TLS family. New products are rolling in every week, and we currently have 10 brands with about 75 models. We’ve decided to focus on the high-end boards and artist models, so the Mini Logo models will be removed soon. TSS will also be supporting the Old School category, so we will be expanding it in the future. As usual, the skateboards are completely customizable with our system.

If you’ve come across Veloz Trucks on the site recently, you may have wondered why they look so different. If you are familiar with the Landyachtz Evo, the reason they are so popular, is that the trucks are mounted at varying angles. The front truck is angled up to provide quicker turning, and the back truck is angled down to make it more stable. This should remind you of riding a bicycle, where the front wheels steers, and the back wheel is fixed. The Veloz Trucks work much the same way. The back truck is set at 0 degrees, so the back of the longboard will be very stable, and the front of the board is used to steer. Veloz Trucks come as a kit, with a front truck, a back truck, and a 0 degree truck for downhill riding.

If you’ve been washing your car each week, only to find it dirty a few hours later, then you know that spring is coming. Spring at The Longboard Store also brings a bunch of new longboard models and graphics. We have been lucky enough to receive many of these models early in the season, and most have already been photographed and added to the site. A few new longboards are coming from Sector 9, Gravity, and Landyachtz. We are also added some new companies for spring, such as Gold Coast [April, 26 models], Sayshun [6 models], and Cindrich [2 models].

We are in the final stretches of our holiday season packing and shipping, and we have been breaking sales records nearly every day. Thursday is the last day to receive free ground shipping items on or before Christmas Eve. Customers on the west coast should be able to add a couple of days.

Our shelves are beginning to look bare, but we will receive more shipments from companies like Loaded and Sector 9 tomorrow. We also launched The Skateboard Store a few weeks ago, so if you have a traditional skateboarder in the family, take a look at what we have.

Ok, we know how hard it is to find just the right gift for the holidays, and the last thing you need, is to worry about an order arriving in time for the holidays. The dates show what shipping methods you should use to receive an order before the 24th. Please keep in mind that UPS and USPS are very busy during the last 2 weeks before Christmas, so we cannot guarantee these dates. Most orders are shipping the next business day, but to be safe, we would recommend ordering early.

Order by date to receive by Thursday, December 24th.

Thursday, December 17th - Ground Shipping.
Monday, December 21st - 3 Day Shipping.
Tuesday, December 22nd - 2 Day Shipping.
Wednesday, December 23rd - Next Day Shipping.
